Rudensk Easter Celebration 2008
We had a gorgeous Easter celebration in Rudensk orphanage last Sunday thanks to your generous support! The youth from my church organized / showed a special Easter performance. Our orphans enjoyed it greatly.  We also played joyful games with them and sang a few hymns together with the children.

My church brother Andrei helped me to buy many special Easter gifts on your money and to deliver them into the orphanage by his van. Owing to the financial support of our sponsors from your wonderful COFC NC organization, we could organize such gorgeous Easter festivity and to make our orphans happy by giving so many Easter gifts to them.

About Children of Chernobyl NC...

Our Mission

We are a Christian-based non-profit organization whose mission is to offer care, compassion, and hope to the children and families affected by the Chernobyl disaster by aiding in their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

What do we do?

Over recent years the main activities of this organization have revolved around organizing annual summer trips to North Carolina for children ages 7-16 who still live in areas contaminated by the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. We are actively working to expand our help through a new Orphanage Support program which will provide direct support to the children living in the Rudensk orphanage and other orphanages inside Belarus.
