The main activities of this organization currently revolve around organizing annual summer trips to North Carolina for children ages 7-16 who still live in areas contaminated by the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. We work with a network of area Christian churches, whose congregational members will host the children in their homes. These respite trips are 6 weeks in duration and give the children the opportunity to breathe clean air, eat clean food, and most of all, be a kid again!
